Here is a quick update about our work with the drilling project in Bouassa:
Thursday we received a letter from a foundation where we submitted a grant application.
Unfortunately, our application was not accepted, despite that fact that the application took a lot of time to work on! We are particularly disappointed because this is the third negative response that we have received. Another foundation told us that there were too many applicants and unfortunately they had to make a choice. Even though they told us that they thought our chances were high… And finally, another still did not accept the application because someone forgot to send us the correct application form! The latter is probably the most frustrating because the person in charge of the applications said that they were even disappointed because our application was excellent!
So here we are, disappointed. But we will not give up! We have other foundations that we expect news from and other contacts that we pursue!
