In Burkina Faso, when you meet a person that you have not seen for some time, we say “What is the news?” The answer may be “The news is good,” or “It’s going ok.” The tone has now been set for friends to carry on talking
“What is the news?“ You ask, and I answer “The news is good!” VERY GOOD. Two days ago by email, we found out that one of the foundations we contacted has agreed to grant € 9,950 for the drilling project!
As soon as the funds have been deposited onto the account of the charity, we will be able to make the transfer that will allow us to start drilling. Yes of course there is still a large part of the project to be financed, but do not spoil our fun!! J But most all what joy to think of the people of the neighborhood of Bouassa will soon have a water pump, and will finally have access to safe and plentiful water!!!
In a few days one person from our team will travel to Burkina again to make sure everything is ready administratively and with the drilling team.
The project is really on its way now. Thank you for staying involved!!!
