Thanks so much for the interest you have been showing toward the Bouassa Project! The project means so much to all of us!

Now that Phase 1 is up and running, the Second Phase of the project really allows us to put in place the various aspects that make this project Sustainable…

  • Building a Water-Tower
  • Training in:
    • Hygiene awareness
    • Sanitation issues
  • Setting up a patented water-saving vegetable garden
  • Water and food crop management
  • Building a fence on the land where trees and the vegetable garden will be planted to protect from sheep and goats
  • Construction of latrines and showers
  • Identification and working with of the child beggars of the village
  • Distribution of regular meals for children (with locally grown vegetables and fruits used to improve rice dishes)
  • Setting up trash bins around the water well area

And the list goes on and on…

Our goal is to:

  • Promote access to water for the local population
  • Help families and children in distress
  • Develop economic activities in line with access to water
  • Participate actively in the city’s “Community Development Plan”
  • Raise awareness in economic management of water and sanitation
  • Accompany children for better personal hygiene, reducing sickness
