It is always a source of joy when construction starts. Even though the walls have not yet emerged from the ground, things are becoming tangible and we can imagine what the pigsty will look like in a few months when the first pigs arrive and some young people begin their training. This enthusiasm is shared by the young people of the Réhobot NGO, a partner in this project, who work hard to make the cement or laterite bricks, to dig foundations, to survey the various parts of the building on the ground. The inhabitants of the neighborhood are also excited. They are amazed as they stop by on the way to the market. We love the life in the village that is created by new construction, even for pigs, things are buzzing with life!
We too are delighted that the work has begun and that everyone is focused with courage and determination.
75% of the project has been financed by a Belgian foundation, 25% still needs to be covered by us. Much of it is taken care of by the workers, but there are still some aspects that still need to be financed. Would you like to help our friends in Bouassa? Click on the donation button today!
